Politics and religion

Religion and politics make strange bedfellows. So the saying goes. And it’s so true.

In a theocracy, where the two are meant to be mixed, religion rules.

In a democratic (not the party but the type of govt.) country it’s not supposed to happen. It’s happening a lot lately. And religion suffers because of it.

The Spirit of God says, ‘I have chosen this man, Donald Trump, for such a time as this.’ ???

Such a time as this.
A time when “meant for people like her” still means a black person isn’t welcome in any given church she wants to attend. 
A time when someone doesn’t go to church because they don’t feel welcome.  
A time when Satan wins because too many Christians follow his lies instead of God’s truth.

Government-endorsed religion: Islam most common, Christianity most preferred

Government-endorsed religion is an issue.   Clearly it is up to us to do our part.  Maybe that part is to find out the truth – to come out from under the influence of government-endorsed religion.  Maybe that part is to tell the truth about government-endorsed religion, so that others won’t fall prey to it.
